At the moment we're looking for a Director of Engineering, Asia-Australasia to join our motivated and energetic teamatIHG Corporate Office Asia-Australasia.
Your main responsibilities are:
Provide technical support to; New Build, Conversion, Rebranding and Refurbishment projects in line with IHG brand standards.
Prepare engineering services briefs for Consultants on new projects and review and comment on consultants' designs in terms of economy, appropriateness in design, budget and operational issues.
Provides advice and direction to Hotel engineering departments on new and existing engineering standards and procedures, Fire, Life & Safety and environmental issues to ensure compliance with IHG standards and specifications.
Provides engineering input/advice in the due diligence process on potential new/conversion and/or renovation of existing hotels and conducts pre-opening reviews relative to IHG standards and specifications of same.
Provide guidance to Hotel based maintenance engineers on career development.
Ideally, you'll have Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. And more than 8 years of engineering experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
